Welcome to the Mildura Rural City Council financial sustainability survey. Financial sustainability means spending money in a smart and careful way to make sure there is enough money for what our community needs now and in the future. Before continuing, we recommend you watch the video on the ‘Your Say’ page, if you haven’t already.
The findings from this survey will be used alongside community priorities from the Community Vision and Council Plan engagements to help Council develop a Financial Sustainability Strategy. This Strategy will then guide how Council plans services, develops budgets and reviews its financial plan.
The survey is anonymous and will take about 10 minutes to complete. For privacy information please click here.
The survey will guide you through 4 pages:
- Guiding principles – let us know what is most important to you when Council is making decisions on how to spend money.
- What does success look like – let us know how we will be able to tell if we are getting it right.
- Mock up your own budget – let us know where you think Council money should be spent.
- About you – some information about you and your household so we can check that we get feedback from across the community. We can’t identify you with this information, it will be used to help us see if there are groups in our community that we need to reach out to so they can also have a say.
